Thank you for your email. Unfortunately, the only program we have for that age group is the Cyber Defense Training Camp for rising junior and seniors. I would advise you to look for other programs in the area! Possibly check out the Cyberwatch K-12 website to see if there are any events in the surrounding area. My eldest son, 19, attended the Maryland Cybersecurity Camp a few years ago and my youngest is 18, a Senior in high school and interested in additional opportunities this Fall, over Christmas break, Spring or next Summer. The 19 yo begins college this Fall. They are both majoring in computer science in college but cybersecurity is a special interest for both. Wish they could get together with other teens with same interests.

Hello Parents/Guardians,

We will be hosting a Saturday Workshop, "Cybersecurity and Cybersafety Workshop for Girls", on Saturday, October 17, 2015. This is an event for girls presently in the 6th, 7th, or 8th grade, and will be held at the UMD College Park Campus. At this event, we will use hands-on games and activities to teach various concepts in cybersecurity and computer science, such as encryption, privacy, and programming languages.
